This archive is created and maintained by Kevin Lentz Multi Toys released the Wizard of Oz action figures in 1989 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the movie Multi Toys also released storybook playsets, each of which included one 3 3/4-inch figure, a non-articulated Munchkin, and other minor accessories, such as fences The six figures were all collected and sold together as the Poseable Collection Two versions of all of the figures were released - the differences are only in the paint These different versions may be due to foriegn release (see Poseable Collection), or another company may have bought the molds and reissued the figures with their own paint scheme All six figures exhibit solid construction (no rubber band) Related toys: Multi Toys also released a line of larger-scale dolls, which also included a figure of the Wizard In 1974 Mego released a line of 8-inch scale figures featuring Cowardly Lion, Dorothy, Glinda, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Wicked Witch, and Wizard. Mego also released five Munchkins, which are all scarce: Dancer, Flower Girl, General, Loly Pop Kid and Mayor, plus three accessories: Emerald City, Munchkin Land, and Witch's Castle [3 3/4-inch Archives] [Mini Monsters] [Wizard of Oz]
