						- Mego released Pocket Super Heroes in two series in 1979 and 1980 as an updated straight-legged version of Mego's previous 3�-inch Comic Action Heroes line
						
 - The figures were based solely on Marvel and DC comics, although Mego did make obvious efforts to cater to audiences of the first two Superman movies
						
 - The first series consisted of Batman, Hulk, Jor-El, Lex Luthor, Robin, Spider-Man, Superman, and Zod 
						
 - The second series added Aquaman, Captain America, Green Goblin, and Wonder Woman 
						
 - Batman, Hulk, Robin, Spider-Man, and Superman were all re-released on second-series cards - Lex, Jor-El, and Zod were not
						
 - Batman, Hulk, Spider-Man, and Superman were also released in the U.K., Canada, and Italy on demin-style cards
						
 - Pocket Heroes are solidly constructed - no rubber-bands 
						
 - The U.S. series was title Pocket Super Heroes, while the denim cards are titled just Pocket Heroes
						
 - The early Pocket Super Heroes advertisement below to the right actually pictures Comic Action Heroes (except for the 4 Superman figures), and includes Penguin, Shazam, and Joker, which were not re-released in the Pocket Super Heroes line
						
 - In addition to the accessories listed and picture here, some guides also list Spidermachine and Batmachine

						- Pocket Heroes is a continuation of Mego's previous 3 3/4-inch super-hero line Comic Action Heroes (in fact Canadian Pocket Heroes' cards read "Fits all Comic Action Playset & Accessories; Comic Action Heroes all featured bent, non-articulated, knees, while the Pocket Heroes have straight legs
