  • Mattel released Flash Gordon action figures, based on the TV cartoon (not on the movie), in three series from 1979 to 1980
  • Series one, which is the most common, features Flash Gordon, Lizard Woman, Ming, and Thun
  • Series two, which is moderately scarce, features Dr. Zarkov, and Beastman
  • Series three, which is the most scarce, features Captain Arak, and Vultan
  • All eight figures feature solid construction (no rubber bands)

  • A Flash Gordon costume was available for the Captain Action figure in 1966-1967
  • Mego released an 8-inch line of Flash Gordon figues in 1976 that features Flash Gordon, Dale Arden, Ming, Dr. Zarkov, and a playset
  • In 1986, Galoob included Ming and Flash in its 6-inch Defenders of the Earth line, which also featured Garax, Phantom, Lothar, and Mandrake
  • In 1995, Playmates released a 5-inch line of Flash Gordon figures based on a new cartoon in which Flash is a skate-boarding teen. Playmates made Dale Arden, Flash in Flight Suit, Flash in Mongo Outfit, Kobalt, General Lynch, Ming, Prince Talon, and Princess Thundar figures, plus Rebel Airbike, Death Throne, and Triphibian accessories.
