Bendos
The world of Bendos is exploding in the year 2002 with new Figures, Keychains, Sport Sets, Action Sets and a new line called Zoomers. The Bendos line has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards throughout the year including the Oppenheim Gold Award 2002, Dr. Toy's Best Vacation Products and #4 on Playthings top 10 specialty toy sellers list for the first half of 2001.
Bendos
There are over 125 collectible, wholesome, non-violent action figures in the collection that features ballerinas, firefighters, quarterbacks, wizards, snowboarders and more. There's one to fit every person's hobby, sport or interest. And for the holidays or special events, there's a Bendo specifically designed for that "thinking of you" gift, whether it be a birthday, best friend, or get well wish. Each Bendo comes equipped with accessories and a trading card. For example, Annette the soccer player, comes with a soccer ball and water bottle.
Bendos stand 5 1/2" tall and are constructed of flexible, plastic-coated wire. They have gripper hands that hold, hang and connect�these award-winning action figures promote imaginative role-play and fine-motor skill development.
Bendos Sport Sets
Bendos Sport Sets combine Bendos, gear and street or field accessories. Six new Sport Sets will be launched in 2002. They include football, ice hockey, pogo stick, sky surfer with parachute and Soaker Bob with inflatable tube. Like the other award winning sport sets, there are plenty of play features to keep kids active. The Basketball Set, for example, allows kids to decide on the number of players, from solo to team competition, strategies and even rules. With the freestanding basketball hoop, the player can be positioned anywhere on the court to attempt one, two or three point shots. Bendos Sport Sets offer a mix of extreme and traditional themes. The Sport Sets line also includes basketball, skateboard, scooter, soccer, baseball/softball and golf with girl and boy versions available in many of the sets.
Bendos Action Sets
Bendos Action Sets pair Bendos and accessories with dynamic vehicles. New to the Action Set line are Zoomers, three uniquely designed vehicles packaged with a Bendo and accessories guaranteed to expand a child's world of fantasy play. This new line of Zoomers include a Bendocycle, Spacecruiser and Aquazipper. A Police Car and Taxi Cab will also be introduced to the list of award winning actions sets such as the Off-Road Racer and the Baja Convertibles�one with flower power deco, the other in vibrant neons. Other sets include spaceship, speedboat, mega-parachute, submarine, jet ski and bulldozer.
Bendos Family Series
Two new styles will be joining the Bendos Family Series in February 2002, Mindy and her cat Minx and Sara and her dog Spot. This series offers fun for imaginative adventures whether it be in a dollhouse or while traveling in the back seat of a car. Available now is the classic family unit, the Bendos Family featuring Dad (with video camera), Mom (with baby in her front-pack), sister Amy and Max, the family dog.
Bendos Keychains
Bendos Keychains are miniature (4"H) versions of Bendos bestsellers that come with a sturdy, generous clip. Like the original Bendos, the keychains also include accessories�fully attached for safekeeping. There are 8 new keychains added to the line including Pride, the Patriot, Mogul the skier and Harey the bunny to name a few. There are 60 characters in the series at a suggested retail price of $2.99
