Disney Wild Racers

Hasbro Sets The Pace With New Disney Wild Racers Featuring Favorite Disney & Disney/Pixar Characters As Sleek New Vehicles

February 2002 - For generations, children have been mesmerized when beloved Disney and Disney/Pixar characters have come to life on the big screen. But, have you ever imagined what Mickey Mouse, Buzz Lightyear or Skar would look like if they were... automobiles?

New DISNEY WILD RACERS, a collection of cool 1/64th scale die-cast cars from Hasbro, Inc., are ready to hit the road! This year, 26 favorite characters will be represented in the first collection of miniature cars crafted to resemble the characters' physical features and personalities. Kids and collectors alike will love the sleek styling and fantastic colors of these new vehicles.

As "cars with character", the DISNEY WILD RACERS 2-PACK assortment launches in 2002. Each two-pack comes with two highly stylized cars, along with a collectible bio-card license plate for each Disney Racer. The assortment features theatrical pairings of Disney Racers, including the HERO/VILLAIN themed packs of Buzz Lightyear/Zurg from Disney/Pixar's Toy Story, Jafar/Genie from Aladdin, Simba/Scar from The Lion King, and Dalmatian/Cruella from 101 Dalmatians. The assortment also includes themed packs, such as the CLASSIC BUDDY pairing of Mickey/Pluto, the VILLAINS pack of Cherabog/Hades and the DRAGONS pack of Maleficent/Mushu. The DISNEY WILD RACERS 2-PACK assortment (ages 4 years and up) will be available nationwide in July and will retail for approximately $4.99.
