Beyblade Toys Sold at Toys'R'UsOn Sunday, February 10, Salt Lake City won't be the only place the gold, silver and bronze will be handed to brave competitors, as Hasbro, Inc. and Toys "R" Us Times Square host BEYBLADE: LET IT RIP! TO WIN, where many kids will for the first time experience BEYBLADE - Japan's highly popular sports entertainment brand, featuring high-performance tops kids build, customize and battle.
Among those doing battle will be current and former NFL, NBA, and NHL stars. It will all happen in the giant BEYSTADIUM, an oversized arena where the stars and kids will LET IT RIP! (the ripcords, that is) launching BEYBLADE tops into battle
Top battlers will win BEYBLADE top-shaped "medals" in gold, silver and bronze, plus awesome Hasbro toy and game prize packs. This event serves as the kick-off for Toys "R" Us Times Square's consumer toy event "Preview the Toy Stars of 2002," in celebration of American International TOY FAIR(TM).
Kids have lifted the BEYBLADE brand to the top of the charts in Japan, where thousands of kids gather at similar events to battle. Through d-rights, Inc., and Corus Entertainment's Nelvana, licensing and merchandising agent, Hasbro has the rights to manufacture tops and other toys based on the BEYBLADE brand.
