Mass Effect toys

I'm kind of torn...the 6-inch line from Mass Effect 2 line from Deep Fish (coming after ME 3 for whatever reason) are basicly statues but they have a lot of variety, character wise. Grunt, Thane and Mordin look awesome. Some don't look as good, like Tali, Garrus and shrunken head Miranda. They also committed the ultimate sin and made Garrus unable to hold and aim his sniper rifle!

On the other hand, Play Arts Kai is doing superposable Mass Effect figures, though only 3 and two are wasted on human characters. Yeah, I know Shepard is the main character but it's the vanilla version and we've gotten plenty of generic guy in space armor figures from various game franchises. The Mass Effect aliens are so awesome looking and while they got everybody's favorite, Garrus, I'd like a Krogan (Wrex, please!) and maybe Tali or Liara before anymore humans. Thankfully, they have the common sense not to make Jack. I purposefully got her killed in the suicide mission for annoying me all of ME2.

Found the first 6 G.I. Joe Retaliation figures at local Meijer Store

Looks like a step back (or forward) depending on how well you like
your figures' accessories. Still 6.98 at Meijers....so far. Bet TRus goes
right to 9.99 first pegging. Cards are more generic, with the specific
personality's name and accessory piece(Drunk illustrated seperately.
There were only 6 figures at the White Lake, MI Meijer store.....
as Meijer tend to be clones of themselves, should be hitting other
stores anytime.

Where's the best place to buy Marvel Legends online? txt

The Big Bad store is out of everything, as usual. Damn it, I want a blue Ghost Rider! It sure is hard to find for the "non-variant" version.

OT Who still has a strickt "No Kill Code"

With comics getting more and more violent these days I wondered which hero still goes above and beyond to prevent his adversaries from getting killed in battle. Most DC heroes do not seem to mind killing or putting their opponents into a deadly situation these days and I think the same is true for most Marvel heroes. I would say Batman, Spiderman and Daredevil are still oldschool when it comes to killing. Who else?

Question: Why does a comic book have a cover date different from the date it is actually out on the shelves?

I've always wondered about this and would appreciate it if someone could explain.

Thanks!

6" Marvel Movie Figure Reviews....

Hey all!

In anticipation of the upcoming Avengers movie 6" figure line, I've been playing some catch up on previous Marvel Movie figure releases in the 6" format (Iron Man movie stuff, Thor, Cap, etc). I thought it might be fun to add these to our stable of reviews and treat them as sort of a countdown for the Avengers 6" line release. First up- War Machine from the Iron Man 2 6" line!
