It turns out that the Purple Man that was a part of the set, was indeed a custom figure. I was looking last night on ebay for Marvel Universe figures and low and behold there was the figure for auction.
The more I look at the figure, the more the face on the figure looked like the guy who played Destro from the first GI Joe Movie.
Anyway that was my post from today

I will include a pic of the link too

so i take it no chance of this figure to be made??
I stumbled over at BBTS & saw the DC Universe wave with the 52 Bats,Supes,Red Robin & Superboy prime were in stock at last. Ordered the Bats & Red Robin & looking forward to them. The sculpts look really great.
If you ordered them from BBTS,You'll be getting them soon.

i've been eager to find the masked daken and green spidey from the new ml line. i found them today at my local tru. but i didn't buy them. why, you might ask? because they're $22.49. i can, literally, go to target and buy a ml figure for 2/3 that price. LITERALLY.
so, with the shock of the price in mind, i decided to look around and take a more thorough look at the prices of things i collect(now, keep in mind, i haven't actually bought anything from tru in a while because they refuse to stock their shelves so i didn't really know what to expect).
ml: $22.49
the lone wwe elite john cena(non-ppv exc): $21.99
wwe basic(i had the option of 100 john cenas or 100 rey mysterios): $12.99
gi joe: $11.99
dcuc: $19.99
this is utter lunacy. i can go to any "big box" store and buy any of these figures for 2/3 of what tru is charging.
wtf are they doing?
Found these @ Target tonight. I bought the set of 3, but so far I've only opened Shockwave. He's definitely in my top 10 this year. I just wish he was a tad bit bigger.
I don't know how many people here have been following the Namco Bandai game Ni No Kuni's "Ninostarter" campaign where the more people who pre-order the Club Namco shop exclusive special edition the more things they add to it, but it sounded like a great thing for a game I was already planing to buy anyway. Well the first thing I noticed right away was that the store is handled by Digital River so I knew right away I could be in for a major headache, but I had good luck with the Voltron subscription at Matty so I thought I'd be fine.
Hello All,
I juts wanted to say hello and let you know I just had my (hopefully) final neck surgery exactly 2 weeks ago and have been out of action for the most part.
I still love this site and the new format but it has been hard to type and sit at the pc for a awhile.
I am still a Buzzer at heart and will be back fulltime again soon.
Bobbi & Rob, if you could indulge me by leaving this here I'd appreciate it. I miss all of you....Nebraska, Blank, Sentinel, Scotty, JJ and so many more I can't even remember with pain meds lol.
Thanks all!
Brian
It's been about six month (I think it was around Toy Fair) since the nuBuzz came into existence. What are everyone's thoughts? Does it still feel like home? Is there anything you wish would return to the olden days?
while they last....................
Hi Mom Racer,
A month ago at a flea market I got a set of old Fisher Price toys. I got a Snoppy and a Charlie Brown that looks like a fisher price little person. Do you know what sets they go too? I got a car, but I am not sure if it belongs to them. Thanks Speed Buggy
