New Commemorative releases of G1 Powermaster Optimus Prime, Astrotrain, and Ultra Magnus are on the way (very soon)

Preordered Ultra Magnus from BBTS. The G1 Ultra Magnus I had as a kid was never complete, and I missed out on its only other re-release, a decade ago. =)

Mad Monster Party- Will there be a series 2?

Just picked these up, best figures I have seen in some time, and the size is awesome, I thought they would be small, but they are *^*$##_#! huge!

Any idea if they are making more in this line? These sold right out at my local Comic Book store

Dear Marvel Universe Santa...

Dear MU Santa...

I admit, I wasn't a fan of your tiny action figures initially. I thought the last thing I needed was to start collecting another scale!

However, I've been pleased overall by the MU sculpts, paint...but most of all by the Silver Age character selection. I just picked up that pricey Masters of Evil boxset, and it got me wondering whether you might decide to put out some additional boxset$ in the near future.

I want me some Kirbyish original, black/blue & yellow X-men! Perhaps a set of Cyclops, Marvel Girl & Angel...and another grouping with Beast, Iceman, & Professor X w/ chair?

And if you don't mind, how about a Silver Age FF set? Sorry...I'm not interested in alternate universe, short sleeve, white costumes where the Thing is wearing long pants & boots...and I never want to see another Herbie the Robot.

Thank You Bobbi IE-Nutcracker Jack

Bobbi,Thanks for the news post about the jack in the box Nutcracker jack ornimate for this year.
Went by & picked up one and he is great.
They just got them in at the JITB by me tuesday so they had to check if they had them.
He is a great match with the santa Jack from a few years ago.

GorDon FreeMan is Mine!

He's pretty awesome. I saw 4 on the shelves, and all had really great paint apps. His eyeglasses are well-sculpted and very clear, and the details on his suit have a lot of nice subtle weathering. His articulation is just so/so. His suit limits the amount his joints can move, so he's kind of a statue. He comes with an incredible head crab accessory that I thought you'd be able to slip over his head, but it's a very hard plastic and the hole underneath won't allow his head to fit inside. He also comes with his trusty crowbar and the gravity gun. He's got two alternate hands, one of which can hold a little bug pheromone pod.

I'm very happy with how he came out. I'm hoping they also release an Alex Vance figure somewhere down the line.

PAK Devil May Cry 3 Dante & Vergil: What's the Hold-Up?

So I'm seeing that these are already out in Japan and are listed as "in stock" on certain sites, but BBTS still has them listed with a January release date. Any idea what the hold up is? Has BBTS just not updated their projected release, or are us statesiders just stuck waiting for Diamond Distributors or whoever to actually import them? If you can't tell, I really want these! And if we're stuck waiting, can anyone recommend a good import site to get them from that is comparable to BBTS in terms of customer service? Any answers or ideas are, as always, appreciated.

There're folks here interested in those M.A.R.S. figures, right?

.

I was at a Ross today and, in addition to some figure multi-packs, they had a "berserker dragon" that I hadn't seen before and didn't remember anyone mentioning before. So some of you might want to check that out.

Darn it, I pre-ordered Castle Greyskull

I just couldn't help myself. I'm not a MOTUC completist by any means, but I've gotten all of the core characters, and this thing just seems like it's going to be an amazing backdrop/playset for them.

What really pushed me over the edge was remembering the chance I took on the Wind Raider. That turned out to be an incredible update to that toy, with tons of complex and really well-done paint apps. I'm hoping they pull off the same thing with the castle interior.

Anyone else make the leap?
