May 2013 - WizKids/NECA have announced the 2013 Free Comic Book Day figure - Marvel's Iron Man.

Coinciding with the much-anticipated Marvel's Iron Man 3, in theaters May 3rd, the physical Iron Man FCBD promo figure will hit shelves of local hobby shops May 4, and will be available while supplies last.

Each figure comes with a character card and free code to unlock its digital counterpart in HeroClix Online.

4K Media Inc. Announces WizKids Deal for HeroClix & Dice Building Games Worldwide excluding Asia

6 March 2013 – (New York, NY) 4K Media Inc., the newly formed, wholly owned subsidiary of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced today that it is creating a line of the games using the WizKids HeroClix and Dice Building Game platform, Quarriors, featuring the Yu-Gi-Oh! Classic animated library. Under the agreement, WizKids will produce a line of games based on the beloved animated series that first aired eleven years ago. The first HeroClix release will feature approximately 50 collectible HeroClix figures released with a two player Starter and Booster expansion packs. The product is expected to hit the market later this year with additional sets being released throughout 2014. Yu-Gi-Oh! HeroClix and Dice Building Games will be available at specialty, hobby and comic book stores worldwide excluding Asia.

Hillside, NJ - February 6, 2013 - From game world to real world, game creator and leading entertainment conglomerate, NECA/WizKids, under a merchandise licensee agreement with game developer and publisher Valve, today unveiled plans to launch an upcoming Dota 2 HeroClix collection and new game platform entitled 'NextChess', featuring Team Fortress 2 (TF2), both based on the best-selling game franchises. Both titles are set to launch this summer.

The announcement follows NECA/WizKids' publication of the much-anticipated Half Life 2 Zero-Point Energy Field Manipulator (a.k.a. "Gravity Gun") replica and release of the Limited Edition Portal 2 Gun Replica, which launched with overwhelming response last fall.

HeroClix Online today announced a preview, making four famed figures from the collection - straight from the pages of the long running comic Amazing Spider-Man - available in the digital game beginning this week.

The HeroClix Online preview includes Marvel characters Spider-Man, Zuvembie, Blade and Lizard. Each figure will be available for one week only as a new figure is introduced.
