So that's 4 "new" figures out of 12...if you see them, you better not wait on them. That leaves 8 more peg warmers for retailers to deal with, no wonder nothing is ever stocked. What happened to packing newer stuff more than one per case? Nearly done with Star Wars...

Hasbro is doing the same stupid case ratio business w/their Transformers: Prime figures.

It used to be that the only lines that I never saw all the figures at retail for were Toy Biz Marvel Legends and 6" DCU lines. Now it is most every line from Hasbro. There are many GI Joe, Vintage SW, MU and ML figures that I've never seen. GI Joe is the most frustrating since I would have picked up the Low Light and recent Storm Shadow figures. I've had my fill of Duke, Snake-Eyes, Cobra Commander and Destro.

Am I completely ignorant in thinking it would take just a little bit of research on Hasbro's part to see what figures people are dying to find through ebay, message boards and even maybe checking local stores. Don't they have reps that are going out to retailers anyway? I seem to see reports of people running into them from time to time.

Then they would be able to make more money by re-releasing Lowlight and Storm Shadow and numerous other figures in later waves in place of all the Dukes and Snake Eyes or Cobra Commanders that seem to be clogging the pegs everywhere. They re-release plenty of characters across their lines but how often is it a hot character?
