Need some Green Lantern help
My curiosity has finally gotten the better of me. I want to read about the Sinestro war, Blackest Night, all of the Rainbow Lanterns and Brightest Day. Can you all give me some guidance as to the best TPB's to get to understand everything that has happened and in what order I should read them? Thanks! Oh, just to keep this on topic, Mattel really needs to give us a first appearance/costume Kyle Rayner Green Lantern figure for either the sub or retail line- 6" of course. Thank you everyone!
start with the sinestro corps war or even the trade prior to that and go, in sequential order, from there. dunno specifically what issues to suggest occur during what story. you should also get the corresponding green lantern corps trades. some EXCELLENT stuff happens in there.
Thanks for the help. I went to Amazon and ordered a good many TPB's that I hope are the correct ones. I'll start with those. Any other suggestions? What about the Rise of the Black Lanterns? What would you recommend for Brightest Day?
DC Direct made an original costume Kyle back before the scale got bigger, it fit's pretty well with DCUC figures.
Brightest Day had oddly very little to do with the Green Lantern stories outside of spinning out of Blackest Night. It was decent with some good stuff here and there and an interesting pay off, but overall I found it pretty dull. Just MHO
As of now, yeah, the only original Kyle was from DCD. Not a Kyle fan by any means, but it is surprising Mattel never made the original version of him, as there isn't that much new tooling needed.
