Ok, so I purchased the Kitty figure at Target today. It had a sticker on it that said it had been repackaged, and it was running $3 cheaper than the others---which they had at $9.44.

I checked around and can't find any photos of the Kitty Pryde figure with short hair. Does anyone know if the Marvel Universe Kitty Pryde has a variant?

Thanks,

Chris Smile

Sounds like a repackaged custom figure, especially since you say it was resealed. I recently found a TRU exclusive Deadpool/Warpath 2 pack and got really excited until my eyes focused on the Deadpool and I realized it was a poorly done custom figure. I saw the same thing at a different TRU only it was a Invisible Woman/ Human Torch 2 pack, and the Invisible Woman's head was replaced with Emma Frost's.

Interesting. I was kind of thinking that it was custom. Does Hasbro do those?

Great. Now Walmart has found a market that allows them to resell stolen merchandise.

I know the theft issue isn't Walmart's fault, but to resell it??? That's just wrong.

Are you asking if Hasbro make/sell customs?

You should post a picture of your Kitty. I'd be interested in seeing it.

Yeah, after I asked my question about Hasbro and selling customizing figures, I realized that it was a dumb question. The "red" alert price tag screamed this is not your normal Marvel Universe figure.

Yeah I think that's a Star Wars head.

Interesting that it was in Target's system. Wonder who supplied it to them.

That actually looks good. I love Kitty Pryde so I may have to try it.

LOL...yeah, I've seen so many of these repacks at Walmart that it just rolled off my tongue. There has been a Clone Trooper missing his weapon and helmet at mine for over 6 months and he has been taped back up and restocked at a clearance price of $3.

I was hoping Target was better than this.
