Let's see, you detail every last Transformer, GI Joe, Avengers, and Marvel Universe figure coming out in the next year, but when it comes to ML, we get two figures we already knew about (Blade, and US Agent), one we didn't, (Mystique)who wasn't even shown outside of a slide show, and... 5 more figures and a BAF. WTF?! You can't even name who else is going to be in series 3? Oh, but wait. You had a 2013 preview figure of Hyperion. Well, that makes up for everything doesn't it?
It just boggles the mind how low on the priority scale this line is for Hasbro, even though it's one of the most popular lines out there. And they even claim that its sales are good. Why can't they throw us ML fans a bone for once?!
You make it sound as if they did it with malicious intent. Maybe they're still deciding who should be in what upcoming waves, sorting them around, but those 3 have already been decided on. Who know. It's certainly not worth getting that over especially after listing all the things the DID show, which is quite a lot.
I guess I did overreact a little. Thing is, ML is the only thing I collect from Hasbro, so I was a little miffed that they didn't show a whole lot from them. I also figured they had already decided who was going to be in series 3 by now. Oh well, if no more news comes out of TF about them, then I'm sure there will be more news at SDCC or even before then.
that showing was pretty crap. why bother if that's all they were going to show?
Whereas I was excited to see U.S. Agent and Blade, who look great.
What's the difference if we find out the balance of Series 3 now or later? Series 1 JUST hit the pegs and we still have Series 2 to get to.

Just be thankful that they didn't tell you some of the figures you want will only be sold outside of the US like they did at Toy Fair even after all of the TF:Prime complaints.

ML wave 3 could still be a ways off. We might have to wait for SDCC to see the rest. And based on what they already revealed at NYCC it will likely include Stryfe, Moonstar, Archangel and Jean Grey.
Moonstar? As in Dani?
I'm not being remotely snarky, this is an honest question; how relevant is she these days? I'm guessing she's in the new New Mutants title? That was a title I wish I had started reading from the beginning but since I'm watching my budget starting with limiting my comic titles as much as possible, I passed. I'm totally down for a figure of her though.
I figured that they were waiting to gauge how the first two waves did at retail before going whole-hog on the line. So that translated to: just a bit of ML3 to show at Toy Fair, but much more for SDCC.

Yep!! Dani Moonstar!! She's the leader of the New Mutants right now, despite being a depowered mutant, and she's a total badass. I believe she's the only X-Man to punch out snotty Hope.
I absolutely love the choice of Dani Moonstar. Probably my favorite released or announced character for this line so far.
I honestly assumed they didn't show much as the line wasn't expected to be as much of a wide release as it was in the past.
MU seems to be the staple of the Marvel / Hasbro world. Mattel seems to be cutting back on the DCUC scale from past years and McFarlane looks to be pushing another 3 3/4" scale for the Halo line.
It seems like the scale of the future is going to be 3 3/4" which I'm ok with. Maybe I;m being a glass half full type of guy.
And they really didn't show much of anything for MU that wasn't at SDCC in at least unpainted prototype form. And nothing really new or interesting from Avengers either that hadn't been covered prior to Toy Fair.
I didn't really look at SW or Transformers.
Very cool. Is she still de-powered? The only X-title I read is X-Factor, which largely stays out of crossovers while still acknowledging when they happen. That being said didn't something happen with Legion that gave back a lot of former mutants their powers back? I believe that's how Richtor got his and I read Chamber did as well (hated that they ever depowered and healed him).
Yea, way to 'stick it' to Marvel Legends fans. How many ML figures did you get last year? Oh, right...

Series 2 has been out, online and from US sellers, for 2 weeks now. With both these waves already out before Toy Fair, I don't think it is unreasonable to see Series 3 at TF.
I hope there's not going to be a long wait for Series 3 to actually be released if they didn't have them all ready to show at TF
they're already sold out (sold out in minutes) but Series 2 went up for sale on Hasbro Toy Shop this morning by the case
I was looking at the pics today and noticed one of Blades guns (the tommy-gun looking one) is the same exact gun the Gi Joe Retaliation Duke figure comes with, its even the same size...OH HASBRO
Also the rumor now is that Moonstar will be Mystique and Blade will be Punisher or vise versa much like how wave 2 will handle Thunderball and Madame Mask, they will be case refreshers.
