Stopped by Walmart for the 1st time in about a week & boy was I in for a surprise. It seems half the action figure isle is being clearanced. ML, MU comic 2-packs, Mini Muggs, assorted Avengers items, all G.I. JOE, all Thundercats, various SW items, LEGOs, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if the boys toys was minimized in the next reset.

Action figures are down to half an aisle here. How much smaller can they go?

The Local Walmart Toy Dept Mgr told me that their 90ft of Action Figure Space will down to 35ft in the next 2 weeks. So if you are shopping at Walmart, I guess the issues with availibility and distribution won't matter soon.

I'm really not trying to sound negative just for the sake of it, but personally, other than a second set of the new TMNT figures, I can't think of a single toy that's going to be sold at brick n' mortar stores that I even remotely want that's coming out in the foreseeable future. And that's a rare feat; I'm usually looking forward to at least one Star Wars figure or vehicle or G.I. Joe figure or McFarlane figure or Transformer or something.

Anybody else in the same boat? :/

I'm just twiddling my thumbs waiting for new MU to hit. And I'm hoping like crazy that's not the next line Hasbro decides to move to Internet only. I was down for a few more Star Wars figures but I guess that's not happening. GI Joe is in limbo and who knows just what will happen with the DC line at retail now. And the online prices are too high for me except for a rare purchase. So I'm pretty much out except for the Marvel movie lines I guess and those aren't too big usually.

I'm hoping Marvel Legends will be readily available at brick and mortar. I'd hate to have to buy everything online. But other than Star Wars which I ws forced to buy online this year, ML is the only other line I collect.

I guess it's the beginning of the end of an era for us.

Things I hope to find in a physical store:

ML 3 Mirage
ML 3 Iron Man
2nd set of TMNT Classics
Avengers 4" Black Widow

Minimates, Evangelion Revoltech, S.H. MonsterArts, Figma, & a couple Hot Toys releases will all be bought online.

The action figure aisle was minimized to HALF of an aisle. It's terrible. Entire lines are missing and there's not even a place for them on the new layout sheets hanging up.

anyone know why wm is clearancing ml after just getting them back in? my wms only got a few cases a few months back and would sell out immediately. suddenly, they're hitting again and wm tosses em in clearance? i don't get it.

oh, and it's nice to see jin posting somewhere i actually go. you've got some incredible skills, my friend.

the walmart I go to, did the reverse. lost a lot of diecast but gained mu, ml, halo, sport picks, dc figures. it is now a full aisle and the figure lines that they gave back, were ones that this store has not carried for almost 2 years. so the figure aisle is what it suppose to be and I can't complain this time.
