I was checking the website where i usually my action figures when saw that Star wars Vintage Collection wave 16 is available on pre-order. The release date is for 30th November 2012. But they are available on pre-order which means i can get ahsoka and obi before their release. I am a vintage guy, so I love star wars vintage collection more than other. Some of the figures in wave 16 looks really cool to me. I think this wave would be available on other sites as well like toys r us, toywiz and others. The figures in wave 16 that i know are available for pre-order are:

Obi Wan Kenobi
Ahsoka Tano
Aurra Sing
Lumat and many others.

Some pictures of the figures:

P.S. If anyone got a review of any figure from Wave 16, then please let me know.

I wouldn't wait for ebay. Amazon maybe. But a case of 12 is 119.99 at BBTS. Since I haven't seen anything since wave 4 2011 except the extremely pegwarming wave 1 2012(They're up to wave 4 2012 for reference by the way), I think it's a good deal (breaks down to $10 per figure), especially considering it's the last wave of the year, which traditionally is the hardest. BBTS's description seems to back that up.

"This wave has limited distribution compared to normal waves. Preorder now through BBTS to ensure your collection stays current.

This wave is to include the following figures:

1x Clone Wars Ahsoka Tano
1x Clone Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi
1x VC72 Episode I Naboo Pilot with Duster
1x VC71 Episode I Mawhonic
1x VC73 Episode I Aurra Sing
1x Episode VI Lumat
1x VC74 Episode I Gungan Warrior
1x Episode VI Nien Nunb
1x Episode VI Weequay Hunter
1x Episode VI Royal Guard
1x Espanded Universe Republic Trooper
1x Episode VI Orrimaarko

Estimated to Arrive
November 2012
Our Price: $119.99"

There's at least 4-5 in this wave I really don't care about, but I'll preorder to keep my original trilogy going with minimal stress. Now if I could just get a decent price on Hoth Rebel Trooper(Echo Base), Ponda Baba, Imperial Navy Commander, and Bespin Leia...

Not only is BBTS sold out already, but half the damn case is retreads anyway! A lot of us already bought the TPM figs from Wal Mart. I only want the 5 ROTJ figures from this set, and I refuse to have to buy an entire case just for 5 damn figures. And no, I will not "split" the case or whatever. Why should I do Hasblows work for them since I'm not a retailer? I suspect there will be a glut of the TPM figures.

Unless these figures show up elsewhere, I'm DONE with Hasblow!! I've supported them since 1995. I've suffered through the terrible distribution of the Vintage wave. Having this assortment be internet-retailer only means these figures will be rarer than any of the other vintage figures. Hasbro Star Wars has been the only thing I've stuck with over the years, but this is the final straw.

Hasbro is dead to me.

As of this post, the case is still in stock at BBTS. This is the second time they've put it up for preorder since last week.
I don't want the TPM figures, but at least I don't already have anything in that case. The previous waves 2-4 are horrible assortments, with only 1-3 new original trilogy figures in each case with TPM filler, and some new figures only in the revision case for the wave. And with retail stores still glutted with wave 1, I had to get most I wanted from Amazon, but still lack the ones I previously mentioned.

Has Hasbro ever commented on why they started re-packing so many figures in a case? I know it's not a new practice by any means, but over the last three years they started abusing it to where they have pegwarmed every one of their lines with this practice. And even the Star Wars Legends line that was nothing but re-packs.

Has this method increased their sales? Seems to me it's done the exact opposite. People want new figures. Giving them four new figures and eight old figures just seems silly, when Hasbro can control exactly who and how many get made.

Just curious why they keep tanking their lines with this re-pack policy.

And I never found the Vintage Gamorrean Guard. Did he ever get re-released?

Angel, I think you just got a slap on the wrist for not remembering your password. Ummmmm. Let that be a lesson.

I am a long time customer of PGT and i never got displeased with their service or pricing. If you are talking about eBay then i saw this today on PGT page that they have 99.9% of positive feedbacks. Here, check this.

I think their pricing is fair, and their delivery service is really awesome. Anyway, the point to start this threat was not to speak against or in favor of any site. Just wanted to inform you guys about the news.

Gamm. Guard was rereleased in the Dr. Evazan assortment. Our Walmarts here were getting them for a while, but so many of the figures in that case didn't ring up in the system that the inventory didn't get counted down when they were purchased. Now these stores have empty pegs but their computers think they have about 20 figures on hand so they don't get in any more. And try getting a Walmart employee to fix that. Most will just claim a case must be lost in the backroom so they can't do anything about it.

Lately I've been finding the Tarkin wave at Kmart and it's not a bad assortment. No more TPM repacks in this one but Malgus and some Lukes are repacked. But the new wave half on the blue cards is now hitting comic shops and online stores, so retail is still way behind if only one chain is just getting to the Tarkin wave now.

After the blue card wave comes this maybe-internet-exclusive bunch. This is not just the last wave of the year, it's the end of the vintage collection. They're going back to crappy cards next year. I don't know if it's officially internet exclusive but it certainly seems possible.
