Wizard World Chicago 2004:
DC Direct

While DC Direct debuted several new products at the San Diego convention (go look at them if you missed them), they did save a few things for Chicago, most notably the Green Lantern action figures.

The Series One Green Lantern action figures should be in comic book stores in March 2005. The figures included in this series are: Hal Jordan, Parallax, Kilowog, Black Hand, and a Ganthet & Guardian two-pack.

One more new action figure shown in Chicago is the Monitor action figure from the Crisis on Infinite Earths series. As you scroll down this page to see his picture, please keep in mind one thing in mind: THAT IS NOT HIS REAL HEAD, that is a 2-D mock-up attached to the action figure's body. (Again, to see the other four Crisis action figures, please check our DC Direct action figures page from the San Diego show.)

Another new item shown is the Catwoman Pin-Up Statue. She was sculpted by Tim Bruckner and should be available in late March 2005, for around $90.

No, that's not Cher on her farewell tour, that is the Scarecrow from Hush Series 3. And no, that's not the corpse from Hellboy, that's half of the Alfred prototype.

DC Direct handed out a release date schedule at their booth, with dates for all of the products announced so far.
