Play Along: Cat in the Hat
Play Along has the master toy license for the Cat in the Hat film, which is scheduled to be released in theaters in November 2003. Starring Mike Myers, the Cat in the Hat will be live-action, similar to the Jim Carrey version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Play Along plans to make many different kinds of Cat in the Hat toys, including plush, talking plush, collectible figures, playsets, vehicles, and electronic roleplay toys. The action figures will be based on both the "film look" and the "classic look" of the characters.
