The Inferior Five

Created by Nelson Bridwell and Joe Orlando and debuting in Showcase #62 (May-June 1966), The Inferior Five consists of the less-than-adequate offspring of members of the golden-age Freedom Brigade. They are Myron Victor, aka Merryman; Athena Tremor, aka Dumb Bunny; William King, aka White Feather; Herman Cramer, aka The Blimp; and Leander Brent, aka Awkwardman. Press Release: Coming this year from DC Indirect, the long-awaited Inferior Five! Each figure is slightly less articulated than its real-life counterpart and is packaged with a character-appropriate accessory. Available in Wave One:

WHITE FEATHER comes with a bow and arrow!

MERRYMAN comes with a scaled down edition of the improbably rare Inferior Five #1!

DUMB BUNNY comes with a half-ton Dumbbell!

THE BLIMP comes with concentrated fuel supply (otherwise known as a chocolate frosted donut)!

AWKWARDMAN comes with his nemesis (aka a ripe banana peel)!

Coming soon: The Blimp with authentic flying (well, hovering) action!
