Released in September 1997. five interesting figures, including some surprising minor villains joined the world of plastic with this assortment. 70's villain Tarantula is a great addition, though somewhat limited in poseability. The Wasp, joining Captain America, was another Avenger made thanks to the Spider-Man line, though in her humanoid-insect form. Does anyone remember the Swarm? I do - from the 80's Spider-Man cartoon, and a few rare appearances from Spectacular Spider-Man comics. Then, there's the Beetle - so good, yet missing his trademark wings.
