Sideshow: World of Froud

Sideshow has teamed with Wendy and Brian Froud to create a new line of collectibles, the World of Froud.

If you are a science fiction or fantasy fan, the names or work of Brian and Wendy Froud may seem familiar to you: both worked on The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth. Wendy Froud sculpted Yoda for Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Jen and Kira for The Dark Crystal.

Two sizes of collectibles were show in the World of Froud line, as well as larger size dolls. The dolls are not certain, but will be made in limited numbers if there is enough retail buyer interest. The dolls on display were examples hand-made by Wendy Froud. (These are the dolls in the unlabeled images below.)

The Trixie Pixies and small Fairies will be made. The Trixie Pixies will begin shipping in July/August 2003, and will have a retail price of around $16 USD each. The Faeries will ship around the same time, but with a price of about $40 USD each.
