ZOIDS BRAND INTRODUCED NEW Z-BUILDERS SEGMENT -- THE NEXT EVOLUTION IN MODEL KIT BUILDING - A Huge Hit With Kids and Fans, ZOIDS Catapults Growth of Model Kit Category

It's official! ZOIDS are hot, hot, hot! Since their introduction by Hasbro in late 2001, ZOIDS model kits and action figures have enlisted an enthusiastic new fan base of kids and collectors in the model kit and accessory toy category. Why are ZOIDS so hot?? Kids love ZOIDS because they get to use their creativity and construction skills as they build, customize and mobilize the only model kits that are fully equipped with wind-up or electronic motors along with action features and accessories. ZOIDS action figure model kits feature an easy snap-together fit that requires no glue or paint. Kids are having so much fun building their ZOIDS that they are going on-line at zoids.hasbro.com to share photos of their customized creations.

In 2003, Hasbro will bring kids and fans even more new and unique ways to challenge themselves while they build, customize and mobilize their team of ZOIDS beasts into battle, with approximately 80 new line items, including: an all new Z-BUILDER MODEL KIT collectable segment; an expanded core model kit segment with new looks, action features, figure sizes and characters; and new ways to build and customize ZOIDS action figures to recreate the ZOIDS battles to be showcased in 26 new episodes of the hit Cartoon Network animated series slated for fall 2003.

Elevating the ZOIDS excitement in 2003, fans can look forward to this awesome new line, including:

Z-BUILDERS

The brand new ZOIDS Z-BUILDERS segment is the next evolution in model kit building that's all about a multitude of building options and a high level of customization. Z-BUILDERS PLUG-N-BLOX connecting system lets kids build, pull apart and rebuild in a number of combinations that's only limited by their imagination. What's more, the action figure articulation of Z-BUILDERS transcends the abilities of any other model kit action figures.

ZOIDS fans will want to build their own collection of Z-BUILDERS characters and then combine them to make larger figures or use Z-BUILDERS armor to customize and combine with other ZOIDS model kits.
