The World's Premier Trading Card Game Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Few games have such a pervasive presence in our society as the MAGIC: THE GATHERING� trading card game. Since its introduction a decade ago, a whole subculture has grown up around MAGIC and today, with interest in the fantasy genre of games, books and movies at an all-time high, MAGIC is getting even more attention.

In 2003, Wizards of the Coast will mark the MAGIC : THE GATHERING 10TH ANNIVERSARY with a brand-new core Magic card set that includes everything new players need to get started, as well as many greatest-hit cards sure to appeal to MAGIC fans. THE MAGIC: THE GATHERING CORE SET - Eighth Edition, due to release July 28, 2003, will be previewed at Toy Fair. In addition, THE MAGIC: THE GATHERING ONLINE will be available for press demo.
