HASBRO PROPERTIES GROUP CREATES LIFESTYLES BASED ON THE INDUSTRY'S MOST POPULAR TOY AND GAME PROPERTIES - Hasbro's All-Star Brands Showcased at 2003 American International Toy Fair

Hasbro Properties Group (HPG) develops the star players -- MY LITTLE PONY, G.I. JOE, TRANSFORMERS and MONOPOLY -- of this year's 2003 American International TOY FAIR into numerous consumer product categories such as publishing, promotions, lifestyle products and entertainment. The following brands will be highlighted at the Hasbro Showroom this TOY FAIR 2003:

MY LITTLE PONY

In 2003, Hasbro introduces the MY LITTLE PONY line to a new generation of girls. This popular brand returns this fall with an extensive product line that will allow girls to bring the MY LITTLE PONY fantasy to life.

The toy line will be based on the theme "Celebration" and will feature twelve new ponies and two new playsets in 2003. The brand's Web site, www.mylittlepony.com, will also offer little girls more information about all things MY LITTLE PONY.

HPG will expand the MY LITTLE PONY brand beyond its traditional toy line to create a lifestyle brand that envelops all realms of a girl's life. This truly integrated program will be featuring entertainment, publishing, apparel and home.

The MY LITTLE PONY movie, premiering in October, will give fans an entertaining glimpse into the world of MY LITTLE PONY. Fat Rock Entertainment, the producer of the film, has created a national network of affiliated theatre chains, including Loews Cineplex, Cinemark and Carmike Cinemas, for the exhibition of kid-focused entertainment. The theatres will exhibit the MY LITTLE PONY movie during ideal times for families -Saturday and Sunday matinees, holidays and summer weekdays. Parents and children seeking compelling big-screen entertainment will find this movie a perfect family destination.

HPG has pending deals with the following licensees for 2003 and looks to develop programs with licensees to feature MY LITTLE PONY apparel, accessories, bedding, footwear and bikes/tricycles.

Hasbro Consumer Products Europe is working with numerous licensees in the United Kingdom to develop MY LITTLE PONY books, stationary, bags, umbrellas, apparel, greeting cards, gift wrap, calendars, sporting goods, and party supplies. In France, MY LITTLE PONY shoes, apparel, magazines, chocolate, sports balls and hula hoops will be developed by a number of licensees.

G.I. JOE

The G.I. JOE brand launched the action figure category nearly forty years ago and has become an icon that signifies patriotism, honor and courage for kids and adults. The G.I. JOE brand is coming off another year of double-digit growth and HPG continues to build momentum for the G.I. JOE brand with a wide variety of new products slated for 2003, including a new CGI movie to be released on DVD this fall.

This year brings an exciting new theme in the G.I. JOE VS. COBRA line: SPY TROOPS, an elite force of G.I. JOE members disguised as the enemy to stop COBRA from the inside. For the first time since the 1980s, Hasbro will introduce a new movie for the brand; the DVD movie "SPY TROOPS: The Movie" will be included with each NINJA SHOWDOWN 12-inch figure 2-pack.

In 2003, children will enjoy 15 new titles from Scholastic, Reader's Digest and Publications International that will include G.I. JOE novelty books, color activity and handbooks.

G.I. JOE bedding from Dan River will launch this year, along with a line of apparel from Haddad. Building off the success of last year, ES Originals will introduce new footwear designs that will feature G.I. JOE classic military, as well as G.I. JOE VS COBRA. Additionally, G.I. JOE soft-sided lunch kits from Zak Designs will also hit retail shelves this fall.

A new series of Devil's Due comic books, published by Image Comics, was launched in September 2001. After selling over 140,000 comic books of the first issue, the series continues to enjoy a huge following, consistently placing in the top twenty among comic books. Additionally, a G.I. JOE DVD from Rhino will feature a re-release of original REAL AMERICAN HERO episodes from the 1980's.

An international G.I. JOE licensing program is currently in development featuring apparel, publishing, housewares and back-to-school products.

TONKA

Hasbro's TONKA brand continues to enjoy a strong presence in numerous areas of a boy's life. In its 55-year history, the TONKA brand has evolved to include interactive play and personality-filled characters along with classic construction vehicles, and HPG brings the "TONKA TOUGH" spirit of the timeless toy line into a wide range of products that little boys will love.

In 2003, boys can live out their TONKA fantasies with new TONKA ride-on vehicles by Tek Nek Toys International available at all major retailers.

Building on the strong success of the TONKA apparel programs in Canada with One of the Boys, Hasbro will introduce to the United States this year an apparel line by one of the top U.S. licensed children's apparel manufacturers.

The TONKA publishing category continues to grow, with over 20 new titles planned for 2003 from Scholastic, Modern Publishing, Publications International and Reader's Digest Children's Books. An interactive game TONKA SEARCH AND RESCUE 2 from Infogrames will be introduced in 2003.

TONKA juvenile products introduced this past holiday did tremendously well. The TONKA plush chair and toy sorter from ABC Development will be rolled out to additional retailers this year, as well as a line of molded training cups and melamine.

TONKA accessories from Calego International including backpacks, soft-sided lunch kits and luggage will be introduced this fall. Additionally, Dan River continues to support its successful bedding line with new introductions this year at mass and specialty stores.

The TONKA TOWN world is an expandable truck-filled world loaded with activities, imaginative workstations and hard-working characters that allow little guys to play TONKA TOUGH. A new in-pack video will hit shelves in Spring 2003 in select TONKA TOWN toy packages and Scholastic books. Publications International and Reader's Digest Children's Books, as well as an interactive game from Infogrames will also support the segment.

TRANSFORMERS ARMADA

Introduced last year, the newest TRANSFORMERS theme, TRANSFORMERS ARMADA, continues to build momentum for the brand through its product extensions and highly successful toy line. The hit television show TRANSFORMERS ARMADA is currently on Cartoon Network.

In the publishing arena, the TRANSFORMERS ARMADA line continues to roll out new introductions including new comic books from Dreamwave; 12 sticker, activity and coloring books from Bendon Publishing and four new introductions from Dorling Kindersley which include beginner readers and a deluxe sticker book. Readers Digest will continue to support the brand with a handbook along with novelty and chapter books.

Other new introductions in 2003 include TRANSFORMERS backpacks from Calego International, a footwear program from SG Footwear and sleepwear from Wormser.

A European licensing program will be launched in the spring; products include storybooks, coloring and activity books, sticker collection, comic books, greeting cards and calendars, posters, bicycles/outdoor toys, apparel/footwear and melamine items.

HASBRO GAMES

Hasbro Games are a great reason to get together with friends of all ages and Hasbro Consumer Products is working with licensees to develop products that allow families and friends to share in the moment. For example, Sherwood Brands introduced a series of MONOPOLY, SCRABBLE and TWISTER gift sets including mugs, coffee and cocoa and soups.

Based on recognizable icons of many of Hasbro's classic games properties, Hasbro Consumer Products is developing licensing programs that use elements of properties such as the tiles from SCRABBLE to create men's cuff links, women's bracelets and other accessories items by Token & Coin.

Looking at new ways to expand Hasbro's portfolio of classic childhood games, HUNGRY HUNGRY HIPPOS has been transformed into an innovative and fun ride-on for kids by Tek-Nek International. This ride-on features whimsical music and sound effects as kids ride and gulp up the colorful balls with their friends.

Additionally, Hasbro Consumer Products works with major companies to develop promotions that illustrate the heritage and iconography of the Hasbro Games portfolio. In 2002, MONOPOLY, OPERATION, TWISTER, SCRABBLE, CHUTES AND LADDERS and OUIJA were featured in marking campaigns with FORTUNE 500 companies, including General Motors, Mass Mutual, Toyota, Visa and First Source Federal Credit Union. Hasbro Consumer Products looks to build upon these successes by leveraging even more of its portfolio in new and existing categories.

The Hasbro Properties Group develops and expands Hasbro's core brands, such as G.I. JOE, TRANSFORMERS, MY LITTLE PONY, MONOPOLY and CANDYLAND, into a wide variety of entertainment and consumer categories.

Hasbro Consumer Products Worldwide is the licensing and promotions arm of Hasbro Properties Group.
