Art Asylum
Art Asylum was not showing any Lord of the Rings Mini-Mates, but did have a concept art poster (first image below) which was absolutely adorable. The Mini-Mates come in three sizes: the 3-inch size we have seen already in lines such as Star Trek and KISS, as well as 2.5-inch and 2-inch sizes.
The Marvel Mini-Mates are the 2-inch scale. Photos were not allowed of the packaging for these, but it is likely that there will be multi-packs of characters available at mass market stores, with singles (or multi-packs) of different characters available at comic book and specialty stores. (In other words, it is likely that you'll be able to buy different characters at your comic book store than you could get in a store like Target.) The Marvel Mini-Mates are made in partnership with Diamond Select Toys.
At the moment, the Tony Hawk figures are only available at Wal-Mart, although they are NOT exclusives.
