Racing Champions Ertl
Racing Champions Ertl has the master toy and collectibles license for the The Fast and the Furious, which includes the original film, the sequel in 2003, and the NOPI The Fast and the Furious racing series. The first products from this license will be released in late 2002, with many more to be released in 2003.
Products planned include: plastic model kits, 1:18 die-cast vehicles, 1:64 die-cast vehicles, larger-scale die-cast vehicles, and die-cast activity kits. The kits will feature parts which can be swapped out to customize the cars.
Racing Champions Ertl also has a license to produce die-cast vehicles and plastic model kits of the vehicles from the "other" Vin Diesel film, xXx. The first xXx products will be released in the Fall of 2002, and will include replicas of the Pontiac GTO and Chevrolet Corvette featured in the film.
