The detailed Gundam Wing line of action figures and action figure model kits are inspired by characters from the popular Japanese animation series, Gundam Wing.
A line of highly detailed, fully articulated 4.5 inch action figures will be available, each complete with special weapons. The model kits are easy-to-build and "snap together" without glue. The models are fully articulated for incredible action poses and range in height from 5-to 7.5 inches with more sophisticated model kits available for the advanced model builder.
Cartoon Network is set to launch an animated television series based on Gundam Wing this spring to coincide with the 20th Anniversary of the Gundam franchise.
Bandai has created 13 articulated 5-inch action figure model kits that include weapons and accessories. The hero characters include Wing Gundam who transforms into bird mode; Shenlong Gundam who has a right arm that extends into dragon arm; Gundam Deathscythe who has a shield that transforms into giant attack scissors; Gundam Heavyarms who has hidden weapons inside the body; Gundam Sandrock who has twin swords and a shield set.The evil characters include Tallgeese who has a backpack engine unit; Vayeate who comes with a heavy blast cannon; Mercurius who comes with a defense shield generator; Gundam Epyon who transforms to flying mobile armor mode; and, Tallgeese II with backpack engine units. Each model kit includes over 70 multi-colored parts and features over 18 points of articulation when completed.
5 inch Action Figure Model Kits
Additional hero characters with multiple special features include: Wing Gundam Zero who transforms to neo bird mode and includes a twin blaster rifle; Altron Gundam who comes with arms that extend into twin dragon arms and a moveable tail-style weapon; and Gundam Deathscythe Hell who has an oversized body armor that opens for battle mode and a powerful twin beam scythe to defeat evil. Each model kit includes over 80 multicolored parts and features over 25 points of articulation when completed.
Wing Gundam Zero in neo bird mode
Bandai has created 12 highly detailed 4.5 inch action figures of Gundam Wing mobile suits. The hero characters include Wing Gundam who is armed with a beam sword and shield; Gundam Deathscythe who shield transforms into giant attack scissors. The evil character Tallgeese is armed with a long rifle canon. Each action figure features over 14 points of articulation for incredible action poses.
