One of the most impressive showrooms at this year's Toy Fair has to belong to freshman company Aztech Toyz. You've been reading alot about this new company recently at RTM, and it is with great anticipation that we visited their showroom.The overall theme of the showroom is something of a mix of high tech meets the Temple of Doom. Upon entering you immediately are confronted with a stone fountain out of which flows a steady stream of blood.
A big screen television plays scenes from the classic silent horror movies that served as the inspiration for the companies first line of figures, Silent Screamers.
Aztech Toyz was also hinting at another product line with their 'N' The Box display. The traditional Jack in the Box is being reinvented for the 21st Century. Gone is the annoying hand crank, the tinny tune of 'Pop Goes the Weasel' and the jolly joker on a spring - as reinterpreted by Aztech Toyz the jack-in-the-box for the next generation gives the fans what they want - cutting edge pop-culture personalities, intense workmanship and immediate gratification.
