Your new Jedi figures with the light-up lightsabers look so awesome, even despite the slightly wonky proportions. Why, oh why then did you choose to 1: not allow us to switch the saber to an "on" position and 2: make the batteries not removable or replaceable?
It's such a huge blunder that I want to smack your marketing department on the back of the head.
free comic hulk minifig with a $50 purchase at lego brick & mortar or online.

Since it seems like the next wave of Avengers stuff is really taking it's time and Joe stuff is out at the end of the month, when are the Amazing Spiderman and Batman movie toys going to start hitting shelves? Are there exact dates? Also does anyone new if anyone besides TRU is carrying the MiB stuff?
Not heard anything, but be cool to see some toys for this line. NOT Spinmaster this time though.
I saw a couple of this on eBay today and have never seen then before.
What is their story?
There was a request for a special thread for the 15th, so here we go. I'll have to remember to bump it up every month. Wow, that sounds more exciting than it is.
I want to make a custom figure of Fat Cobra from the Iron Fist books, and I'm trying to figure out a way to get his chest tattoos into an editable text format.
Has anyone bought any of these little Marvel statues? I've never been a statue collector per se, but I sorta like the rough rendering here. How are the paint jobs?
As much as I love Marvel's silver age characters, I am sorely tempted...even though I need to start collecting an entirely new line...NOT! But no matter how appealing the product...$40 a pop for a 5.5-inch "trading figure" statue? IMO, too much time & expense went into creating very attractive, but otherwise useless packaging. These statues look more like they should retail (minus the tin box & feckless lapel pin) around $10. At that price I might line a shelf or two with these plastic pals...
However, looking at the new FF statues, it appears as though Reed & Sue's uniforms are different shades of blue! That, and we get yet another "non-flying" Human Torch. (His ability to fly was what really set Johnny apart from the rest of the FF, IMO.) Will/can Marvel ever produce one single, definitive set of silver age FF figures?
(But, in all fairness, that new Ditkoesque Dr. Strange statue is killa!)
I've only been collecting action figures for a couple years now. Sometimes when I walk into comic book shops, or vinatge toy shops, there are always some older figures still in the packcage, but the the plastic is all yellow and basically ruined. Why does the plastic get like this? Is it from sitting in the sun, or do they all deteriorate like this after awhile? I'm trying to avoid this with my packaged figures.
I'm new to action figure collecting, but I did collect as a kid to play with them. Why don't they seem to make the carrying cases for the 4" figures anymore? It seems like the easiest way to store them, but it doesn't seem like they're even manufactured anymore.
