I talked to 2 local comic shops today who received thier ML3 Figures from Diamond, no varaint cases out of 9 cases. So if retailers are choking on W1 Rehash and Regular Cases of W3, seems like it is going to be impossible to get Blade, Red Deadpool, Moonstar, and FF Doom. I really don't care about Doom, but I really wanted the Blade and Regular Version of Deadpool. This sucks.
Hi Guys,
I'm going this year and was curious to see if any of the old crew would be in attendance...
if so, post here or drop me a line at [email protected]
I loved the movie and would love to see a Hot Toys version...anyone hear news on the license?
thanks in advance!
Has anyone customized a 6" Movie Black Widow to go with their Avengers yet? The Walmart exclusives are so nice that I really want a complete set, but am at a loss as to which figure might best sub-in for Scarlett. My old ML Black Widow is currently in a box in a different state, so she's out.
I saw the Marvel Legends Hope Summers yesterday and thought maybe her, but I'm not at all good at customizing and she would be a lot of painting and sculpting and work.
Any chance Hasbro is going to surprise us with a real one? Any rumors?
They're new productions of the '03 commemorative TRU Optimus and '07 commemorative TRU Soundwave (so Optimus has short stacks and Soundwave has the double-cassette Soundblaster chest, Laserbeak, and Ravage), and they'll be available next month.
Even though I hate the chest, I'll probably bite on the Soundwave 'cause it'll display better next to MP Soundwave than the G1 version I got back in '84 (it's complete, but in really rough shape, and it's buried in a box in a closet somewhere at my mom's anyway).
I wish the G1 versions Cyclonus and Scourge would get reissued already.
Like this one... I wonder what they were being sued over?
Then again, after googling a link to BanBao, I can see the issue: http://banbaoworld.com/

LEGO and BanBao Have Ended Their War
VENLO, The Netherlands, September 21, 2012 --
LEGO Group and BanBao have reached a worldwide settlement in their dispute over the products of BanBao.
BanBao will continue to respect the ruling of the Dutch court. The BanBao products will now further show the BanBao logo, the packages are adapted to show a distinctive BanBao design and the product designs differ from LEGO products. BanBao has further developed a new character (ToBees) with a distinctive design that is still compatible.
LEGO Group and BanBao seek a fair competition based on respect for each other's position.
These last few months I've really started to focus again on my Marvel Legends and Universe figure collections.
I find myself really (finally) liking the DC 52 rebooted comics, but have been reading a ton of new and old Marvel TPB on X-Force, Avengers, Capatin America, Winter Solider, Punisher, Moon Knight, X-Men and more.
I've also really been enjoying reading Wolverine stories from various eras and it's enjoyable to see how much he has grown as a character.
My answer would be Marvel Legends.

I sure do wish they'd bring this line to retail and expand it...

We bought a few more bags and were able to fill in the rest of the list, except for one, which I slotted into the last unknown code.
I'm hoping that it's a fluke and I can get a fixed version as I really like the figure otherwise.
Also, I wonder if you can swap out Hawkeye legs on to Nick Fury? He'd be way better if he had the improved articulation hips and non rubbery knees. And they appear to be compatible costume wise.
