Vote for the 2014 Transformers Hall of Fame Fans' Choice Nominees

Not a lot of time to vote this year (they sent this out on Wednesday when I was not near my computer, which cut our time down a bit more) - I'll need to send our list in on Monday afternoon. After that, they will combine lists from the web sites for further voting on Facebook.

Hello, TRANSFORMERS fans!

In 2010, Hasbro founded its TRANSFORMERS Hall of Fame, honoring humans and robots that have left an everlasting mark on the world of toys, entertainment and CYBERTRON during the past 30 years of “ROBOTS IN DISGUISE” action. Now, to celebrate its milestone 30th anniversary, Hasbro is once again turning to fans to help select two Fans’ Choice robots that will be inducted into the Transformers Hall of Fame Class of 2014!

Poll your readers to determine the characters and humans that they wish to be considered for the TRANSFORMERS Hall of Fame and share your Top 5 characters with us.

As a reminder, below are the characters who have already been inducted into the Hall of Fame and are therefore not eligible to be inducted this year.

TRANSFORMERS IN THE HALL OF FAME:
Optimus Prime
Megatron
Bumblebee
Starscream
Dinobot (Beast Wars)
Ironhide
Ratchet
Soundwave

Ugggghhhh

Okay; Lost in the Net one night, stumbled upon something I thought was called Ironman somethingorother. A search proved fruitless, going back through history brought no luck. Found this forum.... It is Electronic toy that can be taken apart and reconfigured, I seem to remember that it some functionality similar to the old Simon/Bopit games. It appeared to be about the size of Tony Starks personal arc reactor, and in fact it shared some style traits, with a bluish/white light in the middle, however it was square I think.

Any insights???? Any one????

Help figuring out where this belt is from

So I snagged a pretty cool Batroc custom off of the bay, but I'm curious if anyone knows where the heck the weapons belt is from. It looks super familiar but I can't place it. It is painted so keep that in mind.

Hot Toys Banner?

Seems like HT could have at least thrown in a pair of PURPLE slacks for Bruce, inasmuch as their Hulk figure sports them?

HotToys 60s Batman?

Yikes! It seems to me that, for once, Hot Toys may have slipped up on their 1:6 Adam West Batman. I'm sure he'll look boffo with Robin in some $1000 1:6 scale HT Batmobile, but otherwise, this new Batman figure sounds (and looks!) like it has many problems for its lofty price tag. Moreover, this simply does NOT look all that much like Adam West to me, much less the overall quality I've come to expect from HT:

I own the 1:4 NECA Batman:

And although I'm not a big fan of the huge 1:4 scale, nor am I in love with that particular, unsightly torso joint mechanism...nor the extremely stiff joints he had out of the box, this big boy looks far more like West to me. The HT version looks like a knock offs they showed at ToyFair recently...

BTW, please note that the NECA Batman's cloth bits & corresponding plastic gloves, boots, trunks, cowl...all match perfectly...so why HT couldn't achieve this for twice the price I cannot begin to imagine.

is cap infinites wave 2 being restocked ANYWHERE?!

i saw the remnants of this wave a few weeks back and since then, nothing. just empty peg after empty peg.

what's the story?!

is anyone on Instagram?

I signed up for an account under our site name, but so far seem to be posting mostly cat pictures and following mostly knitters and yarn companies.

Any toy folks out there that I can follow/friend/whatever the verb is on Instagram?

Crime Syndicate?

The first 3 guys just landed in the mail...Superwoman, Power Ring (clever name!) and Ultraman. The rest will arrive next week. I've been unpacking them and the room is fragrant with that volatile plastic goodness that cannot be good for me to enjoy inhaling so much...

I disdained "silly" DC comics in the '60s. It was Kirby or nothing for me. (I was in grade school, but I was VERY mature for my age.) Wink

...and yet...

I did have a guilty DC pleasure or two...or three...or...well...I did, from time to time, accidentally...read Doom Patrol, Legion of Super Heroes, Justice Society, and even the Justice League, even though they may have been the cheesiest of them all! And who could POSSIBLY battle the almighty JLA but...wait for it...an almost identical, reverse, evil, JLA!

Yeah, I thought the Crime Syndicate was cool. Never knew what Power Ring's emblem was supposed to represent? Maybe this is revealed in the comic title these new figures come from?
