Here's some bits and pieces from around the convention that we thought you'd like to see. First up the the Hellboy prototype for the next asssortment of Graphitti Designs Eisner Nominated Blast Blast series. This assortment, being dubbed Big Blast Millennium features Mike Mignola's Hellboy, Matt Wagner's Grendel (the Christine Spar version this go around) and Will Eisner's classic character The Spirit. This assortment is now scheduled for a Spring 2000 release (which can't get here fast enough for me!).

Dark Horse continues it's figure line with Jungle Queen Bettie Page. Dark Horse has been working hard on this one knowing the high expectations of Bettie Page fans. Bettie should be out sometime in 2000. Dark Horse is also releasing the Flaming Carrot, a project originally started by Antarctic Press, in October.

Speaking of Antarctic Press, while they didn't show any figures at the con this year, their future figure plans consist of the Knights of the Dinner Table PVC's, a Gina Diggers figure and figures based on Ninja High School.

Dragon Models of Hong Kong will be releasing a 12" highly articulated Jackie Chan action figures. Dragon plans to release several versions of Chan over time, reflecting his various movies.

Awesome Comics wasn't showing any of their announced figures.
