The Flatt World gang had several of their amazing 8" action figures on display at San Diego Comic Con this year, including the now shipping Bela Lugosi as Dracula. Folks, pictures do not do justice to the incredible craftsmanship that goes into these figures. These aren't toys - they're works of art. Bela Lugosi, for example, features 24 pts of articulation. There are over 45 parts involved in putting the figure together. 11 different fabrics were used for the costume!

Next up for release from Flatt World is Lee Falks' The Phantom which should be out by early October. The Phantom will be followed by Antonio Banderas as Zorro in November. Astro City (Samaritan and Hanged Man) and Rocky Horror Picture Show figures will follow later...

Catherine Zeta-Jones' character from the Mask of Zorro, Elena, will have a figure released in 2000. This figure is being designed by a female sculptor in order to better capture the subtleties and nuances of the female form.

Flatt World will be making extra accessory items, such as guns, caskets, shoes and such, available via their website starting sometime in September. The pewter name plates Flatt World has used for displays on their various convention appearances have proven so popular that they'll be making them available for purchase, as well as some display environments.
