Lady Pendragon creator Matt Hawkins started Action Toys with partner Greg Aronowitz as an action figure boutique shop, focusing on a small number of quality products. Their first action figure was a 7" figure based on Lady Pendragon that came out earlier in the year.

Next up for the fledgling company is Alley Cat, based on the recently released Image comic book (which, in turn, is based on model Alley Baggett). Following Alley Cat will be another character out of the Lady Pendragon comic, Merlin the Sorcerer. The detailing in Merlin's cloak is astounding! Merlin will come with the sword in the stone...

Action Toys is also working on figures based on Pat Lee's anime-styled Darkminds comic.
