Toy Vault

RTM stopped by the Toy Vault booth at Comic Con International and found their upcoming Farscape and Everquest lines coming along quite nicely.

Toy Vault was displaying first shots from Farscape and they look great. Great care was taken to capture the look of the characters. The action figures should start appearing in stores around October.

In addition to the action figures, Toy Vault is also working on Farscape keychains and cold cast statues.

Toy Vault also announced that they have acquired a license to produce keychains and plush products based on Stan Lee Media's 7th Portal, and dolls plush and "Little Big Head" style figures based on Monty Python's Flying Circus.

The first assortment of action figures based on the immensely-popular online game Everquest will arrive in stores this November. The line will be available at comic and specialty stores, as well as Babbages, Software, Etc., and Frys Electronics.

The first series consists of the Splitpaw Gnoll, Iksar, Troll in Leather Armor, Female Dark Elf and the Tier Dal Gnoll. This line is going to be chok full of cool accessories, including various weapons and smaller monsters such as the Jungle Spiderling, Rock Spiderling, and Undead Froglok. It hasn't been fully decided yet which accessories will go with which figures, but many of them will be interchangeable.

Toy Vault is also developing seperately available armor sets for the Troll and that can be snapped on to the figures.

Toy Vault is continuing it's popular Middle Earth Toys line, based on J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, with the latest releases in the line: Galadriel and the Barrow-Wight. The next two figures planned beyond those are Legolas and Aragorn. No release date has been set for the duo.

Toy Vault ventures into a new product type with their Cthulhu plush, due out by year's end. This is the first plush for the company, but far from the last. Look for H.P. Lovecraft's creation to be solicited next month.
