I can't make heads or tails of what he's supposed to looks like from the glimpses of him at the end of the video.

I'm not to worried, though, since ED-209 looks pretty awesome, IMHO. I made a quick comparison image of the original and the new designs:

There's a great look of ED-209 at omnicorp.com, as well as a good pic of Robocop's left shoulder.
