Raving Toy Maniac

In addition to ReSaurus' 3-3/4" Sonic Adventures line, there's a slew of cool Sonic the Hedgehog merchandise coming to stores in mid-2000. Toy Island (of Mortal Kombat, RoboCop and Toonsylvania fame) hold the master toy license to the Sonic Adventures property is gearing up to release an onslaught of items based on the Sega mascot.

Toy Island has a full lineup of exciting products planned for release in early 2000, including action figures, plushes and bendible figures in a variety of sizes. There's something here to please any Sonic the Hedgehog fan.

The basic assortment of Sonic Adventure action figures features perpetual sidekick Tails, the evil Dr. Robotnik, Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles the Echidna and Big the Cat.

Each articulated figure stands 5 1/2" tall and comes complete with a variety of cool accessories like Sonic's skateboard, and the requisite gold rings that should be familiar to anyone who has ever played a Sonic game.

A second figure line features 10 inch version of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles.

These deluxe-sized figures each comes with a personalized display base.

Toy Island is also preparing an assortment of Sonic Adventure bendible figures. These 3" figures are ready for fun and adventure. This assortment contains Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and a robot.

These bendy figures are just like the Gumby figures of old, containing a wire skeleton allowing you to bend and pose the Sonic Adventures characters to your hearts delight!

There will also be two plush lines, a 7" plush line (shown here) and a 10" line shown below. The 7" line contains huggable versions of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Big the Cat.
