Playmates Toys is launching their new Simpsons: The World of Springfield line in a big way around the beginning of the year. For Simpsons fans there's no better way to celebrate the New Year!
The line launches with a regular assortment of 8 individually carded figures, and 3 playsets. Each figure utilizes resistor coil technology which allows the figures to activate voice and sound effects when connected to the World of Simpsons playsets.
Thanks to the kind staff at Playmates Toys, Raving Toy Maniac is happy to present this look at Simpsons: The World of Springfield.

The figures are 5" scale, and articulated. Included in the first series (clockwise from topleft): Homer, Bart, Lisa, Mo the Bartender, Krusty the Clown, Mr. Burns, Barney and Grandpa Simpson. |

There will be 3 playsets released initially: Simpsons Living Room
(w/Marge and Maggie),
Kwik-E-Mart (w/Abu) and Power Plant (w/Homer in
Radiactive Suit - not shown)
