Sneak Attack - Bug Busters

 The most powerful and evil force the world has ever seen has seized control of the earth's most
sinister villains. It is manipulating them to carry out its' diabolical scheme for world domination.
The only hero standing in the way is Spider-Man. It will take his unique powers and weapons to defeat these

Wave 17 was released in May 1998
 Like the first "Sneak Attack" assortment, Bug Busters mixes well-sculpted action figures with
extra accessories to add to the play factor as ToyBiz aimed to please both kids and collectors.
Here, each figure comes with a bug that fire various disk-shaped missles. While only four figures
came in the Bug Busters set, two were never made as an action figure before, and one was an excellent
revision. Jack O'Lantern and Silver Sable, both second tier Spidey characters, were excellent additions
to this series. While Sable, made here in a beautiful silver vac-metal costume, was seen on the animated series,
a mysterious new Jack was challenging Spider-Man in the comics. The Classic Vulture, postponed from Wave 15,
by itself made the assortment worthwhile. And of course, what would be an assortment without the pre-requisite
Spider-Man. The Bug Blaster Spidey is a decent sculpt, with an original costume highlighted by a huge spider on the chest.
